The Passion Residency is ideal for young leaders – those who are graduating from college or have a few years of professional experience and want to fall more in love with Jesus through hands-on ministry, spiritual formation and intentional community. Most of all, the residency is leveraging a season of your life for what matters most - the name and renown of Jesus.

Offering a 1-year ministry residency and a 2-year ministry + seminary residency, this experience is steeped in helping young adults commit to consecration, grow in character, build community and hone their craft.

Who is the Residency for?

The Passion Residency is for young leaders wanting in-depth and hands-on experience in ministry while learning and growing spiritually, personally, and professionally.

What is the Residency Mission Statement?

To know God and become more like Christ, walking with His people and working for His glory.

What are the 4 main pillars of the Residency?

Our 4 main pillars are: Commit to Consecration, Build Character, Grow in Community, and Hone Craft.

Is the Residency a full-time job?

What we do is full-time, but we consider what we get to do a calling. As a Resident, you will be working and serving full-time alongside the Passion team. This means you will not be able to have another form of employment or educational enrollment (apart from part-time seminary upon approval).

What type of leadership development can I expect?

The Passion Residency program is a place for graduating college seniors and recent college graduates to explore working in ministry while growing deeper in their walk with Jesus. Our aim is for our Residents to fall more in love with Jesus and to walk away knowing Him more.

What are Resident Formations?

Formations is a weekly team time centered around spiritual formation and personal & leadership development. They vary each week but are a time for Residents to pray, learn, grow, and be invested in.

Is the Residency paid?

Yes, Residents receive a salary and are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Seminary Track salary: $22,600 | Church Ministry Track, Global Track, Production + Creative Track salary: $28,000.

What would I do about housing?

Residents are responsible for finding and providing their own housing. Accepted Residents will be connected to explore possible roommate options.

How long are applications open?

Applications for the 2026–2027 Residency class are open December 7, 2025 - January 18, 2026.

What are the basic requirements for the Passion Residency?

Each Resident must have their own personal vehicle for the duration of the Residency. A laptop will be provided.

How can I find out more about a Resident role?

Track details and descriptions are available on the website. Once applications are live, job descriptions can be found by clicking 'apply now.'

What are the dates of the Passion Residency?

The Residency starts June 1st, 2026. 1-Year tracks end May 6th, 2027; 2-Year tracks end May 4th, 2028.

What can I expect in the application process?

Upon submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps. The process includes: 1) Application review, 2) First round interviews, 3) Second round interviews, 4) Third round interviews. Not all applicants move to interview stages. The process typically concludes around March.

Can I apply for more than one position?

Applicants may only submit one application but can designate a primary and secondary position of interest within it.

How do I apply?

Can I apply if I do not live in the United States?

The Residency cannot sponsor work visas for international applicants.
